BateríaPaga (“we”) is an independent, informational guide and a referral platform that connects residents and commercial property owners in Puerto Rico with certified solar installers. We are not LUMA Energy or a government agency. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

In short: we use your data for a single purpose — to connect you with one certified installer who will prepare a solar leasing / PPA quote for you and process your incentives. We do not sell your data to unrelated third parties, and we do not share the same case with multiple providers at once.

1. What data we collect

When you fill out our form or upload your bill, we may collect:

Name and contact details (phone and email).
Physical address of the property and municipality.
Property type (residential or commercial).
The amount of your monthly bill that you enter in the calculator.
The image of your LUMA bill, if you choose to upload it. Keep in mind that the bill may contain your LUMA account number and your service address.

2. What we use it for

Estimate your savings and prepare a quote for you.
Connect you with a certified installer from our network to process your application and incentives ($0-down lease/PPA soon, LUMA's CBES program).
Follow up on your application and stay in touch with you.

3. Who we share it with

With your authorization (the consent checkbox on the form), we share your file with a single certified installer who will handle your case exclusively. We do not resell the same file to multiple installers, and we do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties unrelated to your application. We use technology providers solely to operate the platform: form submissions are received and stored through Formspree (formspree.io, U.S.), and the site is hosted on Netlify. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted to those providers to process your application.

4. Basis for processing

We process your data based on your explicit consent, which you give by checking the box and submitting the form, and to take the steps you request before entering into a service.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as necessary to manage your application and comply with legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to Partners@bateriapaga.com. We will address your request promptly.

7. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

8. Affiliate links

This page may contain affiliate or referral links: if we connect you with an installer and you sign up, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
